I have been away from BikeRides.com since 2012, although I never quit riding. I did not record any of my miles in 2015 because I thought that I was focusing too much on mileage. But that really did not make much difference in my riding. So I am back for 2016. See you all around the site!

Second ride of the day. My wife, Deb, and I are doing a 9 day Erie Canal trip later this summer. She is the occasional cyclist so we are working on building up her endurance. Cannot wait. It will be a homecoming trip for us since we lived on the Erie in the 80’s
